Choose the right version of the trend
Bad Times AI is a photo-to-video workflow: your photo supplies the subject, while a reference supplies the movement. You do not need to film yourself dancing, assemble a timeline or write a motion prompt. The result is a new animation, so expressions and details can differ from the source image.
This page starts with the available garden routine. It does not recreate the original argument routine from the trend. For a cat or dog, the dedicated animal pages provide the pet preset and advice on showing ears, paws and coat markings. Keep one subject in the frame so the intended dancer is unambiguous.
Use the finished clip as a reaction to a small everyday frustration: a late dinner, a rainy walk or a missed bus. These are caption ideas, not claims about what the subject really did. Review the animation before sharing and make the playful AI treatment clear to your audience.
Make a photo dance in three steps
Choose one clear photo
Use a sharp photo with one subject, even light and a visible face. Show the body where possible, because the animation needs room for gestures. Crop away other people or animals. A quiet background makes it easier to see the subject before you start.
Preview the photo and check the routine
The browser photo preview is free; it is not a generated video preview. This generator currently uses the garden Angry Dance routine. Check the examples before spending credits, and confirm that you own the photo or have permission to use it.
Generate, review and download
Sign in and check the credit cost shown by the generator before submitting. Review the finished clip for changes to the face, hands or paws. Download the MP4 and add a short caption in your publishing app. If the likeness is poor, try a clearer source photo.
Add music with care
The trend is associated with “Bad Times” by Imael Angel. Generated videos have the reference soundtrack added after the visual animation, and the examples include that soundtrack. Generating or downloading a video does not grant you rights to the song. Before publishing, check the audio and, if needed, mute it and use the licensed sound offered by TikTok or your chosen platform.
